Position: Full-time maintenance person/project manager/wastewater operator

Job Location: WV Environmental Training Center, Ripley, WV
Rate of Pay: $25/hour
Required :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Work experience in building maintenance with skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall work required, wastewater experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Meets employment standards for the position, including holding a valid driver’s license.
- Monday-through Friday, daytime but could occasionally require attendance for special event prep or an emergency.
Responsibilities:
- Overall maintenance of Environmental Training Center building and grounds and wastewater systems used for training.
- Organizing equipment and training materials used for training classes and field trips.
- Contacting various contractors and setting up appointments for projects at Training Center that are deemed beyond the scope of this position.
- Oversee contractor work, for quality and completion report any issues to the Director.
- Making purchases for facility maintenance, repairs and classes as needed, using a State issued purchasing card.
- Other duties as assigned by Director.
