Position: PST Program Assistant
Locations: South West Region
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma (minimum); Associates Degree or above preferred
2. Experience with PST programs preferred
3. Proficient with Microsoft office software including but not limited to; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
4. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
5. Ability to understand and follow written and oral directions
6. Efficient at managing an office
7. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
8. Must be willing to travel
9. Ability to maintain positive relationships with diverse clientele
10. Background, certification and/or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Emergency Medical Services, Fire Service, Law Enforcement, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
Resume Must Include
1. List of educational institutions attended, course of study, dates attended, and certificates earned.
2. List of employers for the past ten years, including address and name of immediate supervisor(s).
3. Description of responsibilities/work experiences in previous employment.
4. Alignment of work experience with posted Job Description.

POSITION: Public Service Training Program Assistant
REPORTS TO: Public Service Training Coordinator / MSESC Executive Director

3. Proficient with Microsoft office software including but not limited to; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook
4. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to; managing databases, maintaining files, writing all correspondence, records and reports, responding to any telephone calls and returning messages/calls relating to the PST program.
2. Maintain inventory of books, supplies, equipment, and audio-visual materials.
3. Prepare invoices for books, private sector training and other items assigned by the PST Coordinator.
4. Operate all business machines and technology available in the office and those needed for effective implementation of PST sessions.
5. Assist PST Coordinator with the administration of PST examinations at various test sites.
6. Prepare and distribute instructor materials and equipment associated with a wide variety of classes in a timely manner.
7. Publicize courses through various media, develop brochures and PSAs, update PST website.
8. Maintain restricted and confidential information in accordance with State & Federal guidelines.
9. Establish and maintain good working relations with staff, instructors, various State agencies, county school system personnel, the general public and any other entity associated with PST.
10. Attend PST meetings/conferences as approved by the MSESC Executive Director.
11. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director/Designee.
