Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Work experience in an office setting preferred.
3. Demonstrates proficiency in computer software including, but not limited to, PowerPoint, Word, Publisher, Excel
4. Proven background and experience in technology.
5. Medicaid billing experience.
6. Meets employment standards for the position.

POSITION: Program Assistant (Full-time)
REPORTS TO: MSESC Executive Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintains positive work habits through: Attendance, Punctuality, Efficiency of Work, Positive Attitude, Cooperation, Appearance and Adaptability
2. Maintains and upgrades skills by attending job-related training and in-service as provided
3. Maintains positive public and employee relationships by demonstrating friendly, professional and cooperative behavior in relationship to the public, educational employees and Mountain State ESC staff. Also, demonstrates respect of individual differences.
4. Performs the following duties as efficiently and productively as possible:
Maintains attendance records
Gathers information for reports
Meets all deadlines
5 Maintains a regular filing system for current and past fiscal years of financial information
Greets visitors referring them to the proper person
Provides support for program staff
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office and other software programs needed to complete job
Maintains confidentiality of all student and staff information
6. Employee will assist with Medicaid Billing
7. Employee will assist with on-boarding new employees
8. Employee will reconcile payment to vendors
9. Develop monthly charts to track data
10. Employee will help support technology needs and trouble -shoot problems
11. Proficient in Office, Word, Excel, etc
12. WVEIS finance knowledge preferred
13. Perform Receptionist duties
14, Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director/Designee.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Recommended by the MSESC Executive Director Confirmed by the MSESC Governing Council
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This position is a will and pleasure employee of the Mountain State ESC. Continuation of the position is dependent upon funding, enrollment and program performance.
SALARY: Per current Mountain State Educational Services Cooperative Salary Schedule.
