Position: Parent Resource Specialist (Part-time, not to exceed 20 hours per week)

A.    Responsibilities:
The Parent Resource Specialist support the partnerships among school, parent, and community.  Parent Resource Specialist assist with “Parent Nights” and other school events that focus on Math, ELA, and technology. Other duties as assigned by the building principal.

B.     Relationship to Others:  Works under the direct supervision of building principal and the Director of Federal Programs.

D.    Qualifications:

  1. H.S. Diploma.
  2. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  3. Ability to work in a team setting.

E.     Functions and Duties:

Meet regularly with school level administration and county level supervisor regarding planning, implementation, and program evaluation of parent and community partnerships.

  1. Term of Employment:
  • Position will be for the 2023/2024 school year.
  • Salary: $15 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours per week.
  • Funding: ESSERF/ Federal Funds
  • Evaluation: Building Principal/ Director of Federal Programs.
