TITLE OF VACANCY:       Mingo County Success Coach (9 positions)

POSITION TYPE:     Professional

LOCATION:  One coach for each location:  Burch PK-8, Dingess Elementary, Gilbert PK-8, Kermit PK-8, Lenore PK-8, Matewan PK-8, Mingo Central Comprehensive High School, Tug Valley High School, Williamson PK-8)

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. Strong organizational skills
  3. Exhibit good communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Be able to maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of student information.
  5. Have excellent time management skills
  6. Have basic computer skills

EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Work with staff and students on the online program, Exact Path, an adaptive diagnostic assessment paired with individualized learning paths to promote academic growth
  2. Assist K-12 teachers by gathering, analyzing, and reporting student data associated with Exact Path
  3. Ensure all data is accurate and properly organized
  4. Attend training on Exact Path
  5. Assist students with goal setting and assist in progress monitoring
  6. Communicate with parents
  7. Other duties as assigned by Mingo County or Mountain State ESC Executive Director

SALARY:    $27.78 per hour/20 hours per week, up to 720 hours (no benefits)
