POSITION: Lincoln County Schools Lead Community Contact and Grandfamilies Facilitator
LOCATION: Hamlin, WV

Responsibilities:
- Work with counselors, social workers, administrators, central office, and community contacts to identify parents + grandparents in need of assistance.
- Document all meetings and professional development opportunities using the LCS staff development platform TeachPoint
- Monitor the Safeschools Training platform to ensure all Community Contact complete the Mandatory Safeschool Trainings each year.
- Supervise all Community Contacts throughout the county
- Conduct, develop, and plan the monthly Community Contact meetings
- Discover, write, and secure grants from various state and federal programs/sources.
- Assist the Federal Programs Director and Attendance Director in securing food, hygiene, and food for homeless students.
- Input progress notes via GPS every 9 weeks to verify Action Steps are being documented in the current LCS Strategic Plan
- Meet weekly with LCS cabinet to share programming information
- Post Family Engagement activities on the various LCS social media platforms including Schoology, Facebook, and Aptagy.
- Plan, develop, and coordinate the Grandfamilies program to make sure all Grandfamilies receive information, supplies, and assistance in supporting their LCS students.
- Maintain all budgets in compliance with WV Policy 820
- Share information with schools and the community about school programs
- Collaborate with community partnerships to help schools connect with the community
- Conducts and trains all Lincoln County Schools volunteers
- Attend appropriate local, state trainings and/or meetings
- Assist with LCS feeding and clothing programs
- Plan and organize Wellness activities at the LCS Board of Education.
- Other duties as requested by the Executive Director or the County Superintendent
Work under the direct supervision of the Lincoln County Director of Federal Programs
EMPLOYMENT TERM: 210 Days, 2021-2022 school year
SALARY: $47,000
