Position: Enrichment Teacher
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
1.  Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate at the grade levels applicable to the assignment (K-8), elementary education and a core content (grades 5-8).
2.  Preference given to applicant with knowledge of Design Thinking Model and PLTW Launch Training.
3.Experience working with higher level learners

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop curriculum and enrichment activities for high ability learners
  2. Plan challenging lessons aligned with the Design Thinking Model
  3. Employ a variety of teaching strategies that are engaging to high-level learners.
  4. Design project-based learning activities in which students can work individually, in small groups, and/or whole group according to the learners’ needs.
  5. Attend Professional Development as required or requested by the county or Mountain State ESC
  6. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director/County Designee

1. List of educational institutions attended, course of study, dates attended, and certificates earned.
2. List of employers for the past ten years, including address and name of immediate supervisor(s).
3. Description of responsibilities/work experiences in previous employment.
4. Alignment of work experience with posted Job Description.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This position is a will and pleasure employee of the Mountain State ESC. Continuation of the position is dependent upon funding, enrollment and program performance.
