Position: AE / SPOKES Specialist
Locations: State of West Virginia
Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
2. Experience in working with SPOKES programs preferred
3. Strong skills in using Microsoft Office including database management, spreadsheets, word-processing, Internet navigation, document formatting, e-mail processes, and desktop publishing.
4. Ability to schedule, organize, and perform assignments with minimal supervision.
5. Ability to set priorities in order to respond to multiple work for more than one person and set priorities during peak periods.
6. Excellent mathematical, spelling, proofreading, grammatical and oral communication skills including the ability to assist and refer inquiries from teachers and other adult education staff.
7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
8. Must be able to travel within the state or out-of-state as needed.

Resume Must Include:
1. List of educational institutions attended, course of study, dates attended, and certificates earned.
2. List of employers for the past ten years, including address and name of immediate supervisor(s).
3. Description of responsibilities/work experiences in previous employment.
4. Alignment of work experience with posted Job Description.

SPOKES/TANF Coordinator / MSESC Executive Director

RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility is to assist the SPOKES & TANF Coordinator with implementing research-based curriculum into AE/SPOKES programs and to organize, and manage systems related to curriculum and instruction. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Develop and maintain a system for implementing, monitoring, and reporting on certificate/credential programs affiliated with the SPOKES curriculum.
2. Assist the SPOKES & TANF Coordinator with the research and/or revision of curriculum materials.
3. Assist in providing training on curricula to teachers and others.
4. Manage software access and licenses specific to the SPOKES program.
5. Maintain listserv for SPOKES and disseminate information as needed.
6. Maintain web pages for SPOKES.
7. Assist Professional Development Coordinator with new SPOKES teacher processing, peer trainer contracts, formatting SPOKES section of teacher handbook, and other tasks as assigned.
8. Assist in conference and workshop planning and preparation as directed by the SPOKES & TANF Coordinator
9. Develop and maintain statistics reports of Assessment and SPOKES programs.
10. Performs other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director/Designee.

This position is a will and pleasure employee of the Mountain State ESC. Continuation of the position is
dependent upon funding, enrollment and program performance.
